Ipswich & District Ramblers

Ever considered walking with the Ipswich & District Ramblers? You don't have to be a member for your first few walks so give us a try. We are a friendly and welcoming group.

For our forthcoming walks see 'Our next walks' panel on this page and the Home page. Click here for the full programme. Members can walk with any Ramblers group at anytime. Every week Ramblers volunteers organise hundreds of group walks all over Great Britain, ranging from short local strolls to bracing hillside treks. Some walks are aimed especially at people in their 20s and 30s or families with children. Details of most Ramblers walks are listed on our Groups Walks Finder.

Our walks are primarily for Ramblers members. Non members are welcome to join us as guests on two or three walks, though if you walk with any Ramblers groups regularly you will be expected to join the Ramblers. You do not have to live in Suffolk.

Our walks are planned and led by volunteers from within the group. If you’d like to get involved in leading a walk, please let us know, we have lots of support available to help you. Contact any member of the committee or any walk leader - see Contacts page - for more information.
